Day 1: Pick up from Kampala and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National park- Night Game Drive

Today 6:30 am, your guide will pick you up from your hotel and transfer you to Queen Elizabeth National park passing through the rolling hills in the country side. You will have a stopover at the equator for photos, and an opportunity to stand in 2 hemispheres at the same time. You will arrive at the lodge in the afternoon, have lunch and after lunch you will relax.

You will then go for the night game drive for to experience the nocturnal wildlife. Look out for lions, elephants, African Cape buffalo among others. In your vehicle, you will be with an armed ranger from Uganda Wildlife Authority and a spot light.

You will return to the lodge for late dinner

Day 2: Lion Tracking – Boat Safari on Kazinga channel

Today after breakfast, you will go for Lion Tracking research experience. You will go out in the Savannah with a research and tracking devices to search for the collared lions in the northern part of Queen Elizabeth National park. This lion tracking research is carried out by Uganda Wildlife Authority and the Uganda Carnivore program and during the experience, you will learn about lions, their habits, their environment and habituation calls. Be assured that you will be able to see lions.

After the lion tracking safari, your guide will drive you to Mweya Safari lodge for lunch. After lunch you will go for a boat safari at the famous Kazinga channel that connects lakes Edward and George. During the boat safari, you will see lots of birds, and animals that include elephants, countless hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, monitor lizards among other.

You will return to the lodge with en route game drive. You will get to your lodge in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Transfer to Ishasha sector for Tree Climbing Lions

Today morning, after breakfast, your guide will transfer you to Ishasha sector, which is the Southern part of Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive at sector ready for the Tree Climbing Lions safari. Apart from tree climbing lions, look out for other wildlife that include elephants, hyenas, buffalos, antelopes and baboons. After the game drive, you will go to your lodge, check in and have lunch.

In the afternoon, you will go back for the afternoon game drive to search for more lions which climb up their favorite fig trees when it gets hot.
If you stay at Ishasha Wildlerness camp, after the game drive, you will go for a Sun downer and snacks in the Ishasha wilderness.

You will have dinner and overnight

Day 4: Morning Tree Lions game driver – Transfer to Kampala or Entebbe

Today after breakfast, you will go for another game drive before driving back to Kampala and or Entebbe. You will have lunch en route and you will arrive at your destination in the evening.

Kindly note that accommodation for tonight is not inclusive, let us know if we should book for you a hotel in Kampala or Entebbe for a night or more.
