Lake Mutanda is a beautiful lake that located just north of Kisoro and stretches not far south of Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National park. It is a relaxing place after your gorilla tracking trip and offers beautiful views of the misty virunga volcanoes. It is also a great alternative for Lake Bunyonyo.

There are some activities available at this stunning lake which can be explored by canoe to some of the islands, swimming since it has no hippos, crocodiles and is bilhazia free and of course bird watching.

Mukozi Village and Lake Trip
Travellers can use a canoe is 3-4 hours and 2 hours on a motorized canoe boat. It takes you to the burial place of Kyangushu and the beautiful village of Mukozi.
