Murchison falls national park.

The park is located in northwestern Uganda, it’s the largest among all the 10 national parks in Uganda and it’s a home to 4 of the big five games. The park offers a number of activities that can be done by family and these include;

Game drives. Theses have no limit to age, while on the game drive you will be able to spot mammals like elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, buffaloes and many more.

Lake Mburo national park.

Lake Mburo national park is located in western Uganda in Kiruhura district and it’s the nearest national park from Kampala the capital city of Uganda.

Queen Elizabeth national park.

Queen Elizabeth national park is Uganda’s largest savannah park located in western Uganda in rubirizi, Rukungiri and Kasese districts.

Activities that can be carried out in this park on a family travel include game drives, boat cruise, and cultural encounters. Mammals expected to see include tree climbing lions, buffaloes, elephants, leopard, antelopes and many more plus a number of bird species.

Kidepo valley national park.

This savannah park is located in north eastern Uganda in Karenga and Kaabong district. It is far but worth it since it offers a variety. Activities to be carried out include cultural encounters whereby you will visit the IK and Karamajong people to get to know their life style. There are game drives, visiting the karangoroko hot springs, guided nature walks which all are suitable for a family travel.

Jinja is the perfect place for family’s looking for adventure since it offers activities like kayaking, quad biking, bungee jumping, horseback riding, paddle boarding and many more. Some of these have age limits however there is an option of a boat cruise to those who can’t engage in adrenaline activities.

Uganda wildlife education centre.

UWEC is the perfect place for kids since it has almost all animals including the chimpanzees which have an age limit to see in their natural habitat. Other animals to see include lions, elephants, leopards, hyenas, zebras, otters, crocodiles and many more.
