Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Kibale National Park

Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a brief introduction to your safari, you will transfer to Kibale National Park. En route, you’ll have the chance to take stunning photographs of Uganda’s lush countryside. Enjoy lunch in Fort Portal, a charming town renowned for its perfect climate and beautiful scenery. After lunch, you’ll take a short tour of Fort Portal, the headquarters of the historical Tooro Kingdom.

Your accommodation for the night will be at Isunga Lodge, where you’ll enjoy dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Swamp Walk

After an early breakfast, head to the park’s headquarters for a briefing on chimpanzee tracking. Armed with walking sticks, you will venture into the forest of Kibale in search of chimpanzees. The tracking experience typically lasts between 3 to 5 hours, as chimpanzees are highly mobile and often found in trees.

Post-tracking, return to your lodge for lunch and some relaxation. In the late afternoon, embark on a walk around the Bigodi Swamp to spot various primates and bird species. Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Isunga Lodge.

Day 3: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Game Drive in Ishasha

After breakfast, set off for Queen Elizabeth National Park. Arrive in time for a game drive in the Ishasha Sector, renowned for its tree-climbing lions. This rare phenomenon allows lions to climb trees to avoid insects and spot potential prey. Spend the afternoon exploring this unique sector before heading to your accommodation.

You will stay at Elephant Hub, where dinner will be served, and you can relax for the night.

Day 4: Game Drive and Boat Cruise

Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting off for a morning game drive in the Kasenyi plains. This drive offers a chance to see nocturnal animals as they return to their dens and spot early risers like birds and various mammals.

After returning to your lodge for lunch and some rest, prepare for an afternoon boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The channel is a major gathering point for animals, including crocodiles, hippos, and elephants, especially during the dry season. After the cruise, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: Maramagambo Forest Visit – Transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before heading to Maramagambo Forest, known for its chimpanzees and cave bats. During your forest walk, you might spot various birds, forest hogs, and dwarf antelopes. The forest also attracts pythons that prey on bats, adding a unique dynamic to your visit.

After exploring Maramagambo Forest, transfer to Bwindi’s Rushaga sector. Check into your lodge, Rushaga Gorilla Camp, and enjoy dinner and a peaceful night.

Day 6: Gorilla Habituation Experience

Wake up early for breakfast and head to the briefing point for the gorilla habituation experience. This adventure involves a trek through the dense jungle of Bwindi, lasting between 2 to 8 hours. Unlike standard gorilla trekking, this experience offers up to 4 hours with the mountain gorillas, allowing for a more in-depth observation of their behavior.

After the trek, receive your gorilla trekking certificate at the park’s headquarters. Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After breakfast, journey to Lake Bunyonyi, known as Uganda’s most beautiful and deepest lake. Spend the day relaxing by the lake, go boat riding, or visit various islands within the lake. Return to Lake Bunyonyi Eco Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 8: Transfer Back to Entebbe – Fly to Nairobi

Depart from Lake Bunyonyi after breakfast and head back to Entebbe. From there, fly to Nairobi’s Jomo Kenyatta International Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met by your safari guide and transferred to La Maison Royale Hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 9: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park

Enjoy an early breakfast before transferring to Lake Nakuru National Park. After a short game drive en route to your lodge, you will have lunch and some rest. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive to explore the park and view giraffes, gazelles, Cape buffaloes, wild dogs, zebras, lions, and more. Return to Ziwa Bush Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 10: Lake Nakuru to Masai Mara

After an early breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve with an en-route game drive. Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge, followed by an afternoon game drive. Return to Ziwa Bush Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 11-12: Full Days in Masai Mara

Spend these two days exploring different regions of Masai Mara. Enjoy morning and afternoon game drives to witness the incredible wildlife, including lions, elephants, Cape buffaloes, rhinos, leopards, and various antelopes. You’ll have the option of picnic lunches or dining at the lodge. Return to Ziwa Bush Lodge each evening for dinner and relaxation.

Day 13: Masai Mara to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, travel to Serengeti National Park through the Isebania border. Clear customs and meet your Tanzanian guide before proceeding with an en-route game drive. Arrive at Heritage Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 14-15: Full Days in Serengeti

Explore Serengeti National Park with game drives each morning and afternoon. You will also have the opportunity to enjoy a hot air balloon safari, providing stunning aerial views of the park. Return to your lodge each evening for dinner and rest.

Day 16: Serengeti to Ngorongoro
